Hoog's Home Inspections is a family-run business in Merritt Island. I use my 23 years of construction experience to give you a clear, detailed look at your property's condition and safety.
Customers call me Jim. The business is built on honest, professional property evaluations, and on a report you can read the first time through.
Serving All of Brevard County
Residential inspections start at $250, based on square footage. Wind mitigation and 4-point reports are flat-rate. The seven inspections are laid out one by one, and the gallery shows what is in frame when I do them.

Two decades around construction
I am a Florida-licensed home inspector with over two decades in the construction industry. My deep roots in the Merritt Island community, and my work with local builders, mean I know what goes wrong in the houses around here and why. That is the difference between a list of items and a read on the house.

A report you can read
I examine everything from foundations to seawalls, and I write it down so that nobody has to decode it. The reports are information-dense yet easy to read. You get the facts you need to make an informed real estate decision,. I use modern technology and technical expertise to keep the safety and structural picture of your home clear.
